A Celebration of Culture, Community, and Childhood Joy
At Cass Concepts, we believe some of the most powerful stories start right at home. That’s why we were honored to partner with the City of Arcola to capture the heart of this year’s Children’s Day celebration—a vibrant event filled with laughter, culture, and connection.
Built on Support, Fueled by Generosity
What began as a small neighborhood celebration over 40 years ago has blossomed into one of Arcola’s most cherished events. Thanks to the generosity of local sponsors, the day now features free bikes, bounce houses, toys, and food for every child in attendance. It's a true example of what happens when a town rallies together around its youngest residents. As one organizer shared in the recap,
"We can’t do this without the sponsors—that’s for sure. They helped us grow this event into something incredible for our community."

Inclusive and Intentional
This year’s event included sensory-friendly hours from 10 AM to noon—making space for children who are neurodiverse or who live with sensory processing disorders to enjoy the celebration in a calm, welcoming environment.
“These kids deserve to be included. At big festivals, they often face challenges with overstimulation—and this gives them the space to just be kids.”
A Vision for the Future
For Mayor Jesús Garza, Children’s Day isn’t just about one day of fun—it’s about investing in the future of Arcola.
“I’m focused on the children’s age because it’s the future of our Arcola. My hope is that they’ll grow up here, stay here, and build their lives in this community.”
With help from the Mayor’s family, volunteers, and generous donors, this year’s event truly embodied Arcola’s spirit: welcoming, inclusive, and deeply rooted in tradition.
We’re proud to work with the City of Arcola—and even prouder to help share stories like this one.
