Preserving the Past, Inspiring the Future

At the heart of every meaningful project is are the visionaries—those who see not just what is, but what could be. For the Illinois Amish Heritage Center, Lynn Miller is one of those people—a generous donor and passionate supporter of the new Visitor and Museum Center.

In a recent interview, Lynn shared his perspective on how tourism has evolved in and around the Amish community—and why this project couldn’t come at a better time. He reflected on what makes the Amish culture so unique: a quiet strength, a deep commitment to faith and family, and values that have stood the test of time.

🎙️ In the video below, Lynn speaks to the heart behind this project—how it’s not just about preserving buildings, but about preserving the stories, values, and traditions that define the Amish way of life.

As the tone of tourism shifts toward deeper cultural connection and understanding, the new Visitor and Museum Center will serve as a bridge between generations—welcoming guests, educating communities, and honoring the legacy of those who came before.

We’re proud to partner with organizations and individuals who believe in storytelling with purpose—and who help turn vision into reality.
