Curtains Up in Amish Country: Musicals Coming to Arthur with Cass Concepts Productions

Our creativity takes many forms—from branding and digital strategy to full-scale event productions that breathe life into local tourism. And now, we’re thrilled to announce that one of our favorite passion projects is making a triumphant return to the stage: Cass Concepts Productions is bringing professional musicals back to Arthur, Illinois.

After a three-year hiatus and a brand-new venue, we're returning with a fresh wave of family-friendly entertainment that’s rooted in heart, humor, and the heritage of the Illinois prairie.

From Marketing to Musicals

Owned and operated by Cassie Yoder, Cass Concepts Productions was born from the same creative spirit that fuels our agency. Since 2015, this performance arm has produced hundreds of shows and events throughout Central Illinois, attracting audiences from 27 states to enjoy musicals like:

Originally hosted at Green Mill Village Theatre in Arcola, the productions paused during the pandemic. But as tourism and travel bounce back, so does the stage.

“Timing is everything,” said Cassie Yoder. “There’s been a lot of planning to bring this unique theatre experience back to the area in July.”

A New Stage, A New Story

We’re now proud to call Penn Station (120 E. Progress St., Arthur, IL) our new home—a cozy, central spot in the heart of Illinois Amish Country. The new venue opens its doors this summer with the world premiere of:

Created in partnership with writer and composer Wally Nason of Franklin, Tennessee—whose work has lit up stages like Blue Gate Theatre (IN) and Bird-in-Hand Stage (PA)—this new musical blends music, mystery, and the warmth of Midwestern storytelling.

“The shows are so heartwarming. Wally Nason is a creative genius who brings the music and story to life with education, emotion, and wit,” said Yoder.

This revival is more than a show—it’s a boost to the local economy. Area businesses and restaurants in Arthur will benefit from the influx of tourists, tour buses, and families looking for something fun and wholesome to enjoy together. “Marketing within the tourism and entertainment industry in Central Illinois has proven there was a need and demand for professional, family-friendly theatre,” Yoder added.
